Terms of service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These terms apply when you use this website or buy from it. This website is operated by The 387, LLC ("we", "us"), and sells books by Soren Valdane. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. What we sell

We sell one ebook, The Hidden History of Playing God, a novel, in PDF and EPUB formats. The price is shown on the site in US dollars. Taxes, where they apply, are calculated at checkout.

2. Payment and delivery

Orders are processed by our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt. Its buyer terms also apply to the payment. We never see or store your card details. After payment, you get a download button on the confirmation screen and download links by email. Delivery is digital and starts right away.

3. Your licence

When you buy the ebook, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read it on your own devices. You may not resell, share, upload, or distribute the files, or remove the author's name or any notice from them. Short quotes for reviews, comments, and social media are fine. All rights in the text, cover, and images on this site belong to the author.

4. Refunds

Refunds follow our refund policy.

5. The website

We try to keep the site accurate and working, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Content on the site, including the story pages, the interview, and the images, is part of the book's world and is offered for entertainment.

6. Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

7. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you place an order applies to that order.

9. Contact
